The West Texas Mile is a one-mile, straight-line racing event sanctioned by ECTA Motorsports. Drivers and riders from across the country compete for personal bests and record-setting speeds on the Colorado City Airport runway.

Yes! The event is open to the public. Tickets will be available for single-day or weekend passes. Children 12 and under are free with an adult.

Expect food trucks, vendor booths, kids' activities (bounce houses, gaming trailer, face painting), live music, historic flyovers, the Smoke & Thunder jet truck, and the 1K Bullet world record attempt.

Absolutely! There's a dedicated kids' zone with safe activities, plus plenty of entertainment for all ages.

We recommend lawn chairs, sunscreen, hats, and ear protection (engines get LOUD). Outside food and drink may be limited; check event policies.

Yes! Friday night is open for local "hometown runs." Official ECTA-sanctioned runs require pre-registration and tech inspection.
